There are dozens of movies which have released this year and most of them are, obviously, forgettable. It is very difficult to remember movie sequences but some of them are surely etched in your mind. The movie may not be that good, but still it may be able to produce some magical scenes.
X-Men : Apocalypse released this year with a lot of hype but frankly, it did not live up to the billing. The movie received mixed reviews from the critics and was an average runner at the box-office. In fact when we compare the business to the other Marvel or DC films, it is definitely below par. However, one sequence in the movie really left us all enthralled. Quicksilver (played by Evan Peters) had a slow-mo sequence reminiscent to his scene in the previous installment of X-Men (Days Of Future Past).
Here is the slow-mo masterpiece sequence from X-Men : Apocalypse , have a look –
Quicksilver returned in slow and fast-motion to save scores of students from a deadly blast, all while he is listening to Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) by Eurythmics. Australia-based visual effects studio Rising Sun Pictures was responsible in making this uber-cool scene which was the best thing in an otherwise mediocre movie.
Do you think this is the coolest movie scene of the year so far? Do let us know if you beg to differ.
