We all love Leonardo DiCaprio, so much so that the social network is always abuzz as to how he has still not laid his hands on the coveted Oscar trophy!! Tonight seems the night though when he will finally break the duck! He has been nominated 5 times before for the Oscar trophy (3 times for Best Actor, once for Best Supporting Actor and once for Best Film-Producer).

Here is a look at his previous nominations:

Leonardo DiCaprio earned his first nomination at age 22 for his breakthrough performance in "What’s Eating Gilbert Grape." He lost the trophy of Best Supporting Actor to Tommy Lee Jones (The Fugitive).

In 2007, Leo was nominated again, this time for his potrayal of a diamond smuggler in "Blood Diamond". He lost this time to Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland)

Dicaprio was nominated for two categories for "The Wolf of Wall Street", Best Actor and Best Film. However, he lost out respectively to  Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club) and "12 Years A Slave"
