Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Trailer Review

The new full-length trailer of the much awaited fantasy-space epic “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has surely left its fans in a frenzy. The new trailer does show some new characters and some old legendary ones too (including Chewbacca). We try to analyze some of the snippets of the trailer. But before that, incase you haven’t seen the trailer, here it is:

We have a look at some of the crucial snippets which have left fans in a frenzy:

Rey and Finn:

Han Solo is shown speaking to Rey and Finn on the Millennium Falcon, where he seems to explain that the Jedi thing is talked about as mythology more than historical fact.

Hans Solo:

Hans Solo seems to be more of a teacher rather than an ingratiating guy he was before. Hope thats not the case and he should be the same incredulous guy he was in the earlier installments rather than a guru.

Luke Skywalker and R2D2:

Luke’s been absent from all the trailers so far, and even here he is more of an invisible character. Speculations are he may be having just a guest appearance rather than a full-fledged role in this 7th installment, but we hope it turns out to be otherwise.

Kylo Ren – The bad guy:

Kylo Ren is the new, young, bad guy in the new StarWars film and is the leader of the Knights of Ren. Lots of light-saber fights expected?!

Leia – the old lady:

The beautiful Leia is old and seems really sad when she hugs Hans Solo. Are they re-uniting after a long time or is there just despair in their lives while their marriage worked fine?! Would be sad to know they had separated.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the first of the three parts in the third trilogy of the legendary series. Directed by J.J. Abrams , the big-budget epic releases this Christmas (2015) and is expected to break many a box-office records. We can hardly wait.
